Vizag Glass Skywalk Bridge: Entry Fees and Operational Details Promise an Unforgettable Experience

Vizag Glass Skywalk Bridge: Entry Fees

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is finalizing the entry fees and operational details for the newly inaugurated India’s longest cantilever glass skywalk bridge at Kailasagiri Hills, Vizag. The skywalk is set to offer visitors a unique and thrilling experience with panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal, the cityscape, and surrounding hills.

Expected ticket prices are estimated to range between ₹200 and ₹300 per person, making the attraction accessible to both domestic and international tourists. Visitor access will be managed in batches of around 40 people at a time, with each group allowed approximately 10 to 15 minutes on the glass bridge to ensure both safety and enjoyment. The bridge is anticipated to be open during daylight and evening hours, particularly during sunrise and sunset to enhance the scenic experience.

The bridge itself, built with three layers of tempered laminated German glass and supported by 40 tonnes of fabricated steel, stands 862 feet above the ground and is designed to safely accommodate over 100 visitors simultaneously while currently limiting entry for crowd control. VMRDA’s careful planning aims to balance thrilling adventure with stringent safety and comfort standards, ensuring an unforgettable visit while preserving the structural integrity.

This new glass skywalk bridge is expected to become one of Vizag’s premier tourist attractions, boosting local tourism, economic activity, and reinforcing Vizag’s reputation as the City of Destiny with world-class infrastructure and innovative tourism experiences.
