Mother Seeks Justice After Daughter’s Brutal Murder in Vizag

The mother of P. Appala Narasamma, a 20-year-old woman brutally murdered and dismembered in Visakhapatnam (Vizag), has expressed profound grief and demanded justice for her daughter. Lakshmi shared her anguish, recalling, “She didn’t call back that day,” referring to May 18, the day Narasamma was killed.

Narasamma’s dismembered body parts were discovered on May 21, shocking the local community. Police have since arrested her cousin and former boyfriend, P. Ramana, in connection with the gruesome crime. Investigators stated that Ramana confessed, admitting he murdered Narasamma after she ended their relationship and rejected his repeated marriage proposals. He reportedly pursued her even after she moved to another city for work.

Lakshmi, who learned of her daughter’s tragic fate through relatives, is now grappling with immense pain. The horrifying incident has sparked outrage, with the family and community united in their call for swift and stringent legal action against the perpetrator, emphasizing the urgent need for justice for Narasamma.
